Leeds Beckett University is a modern professional university with ambition. Based in the vibrant city of Leeds, the biggest financial district outside of London, their vision is to be acknowledged for their commitment to student success, innovation and enterprise, global reach and strong local impact.
Since 2013, we have been Leeds Beckett’s contracted supplier of all fixed signage solutions throughout their 2 campuses. This work includes making sure all directory signage and information is up-to-date, along with more involved works working in collaboration with both their marketing and design departments.
A major project in 2014 was the change of the University’s name. This saw AD Bell altering every sign throughout the University and also creating new high impact iconography on the landmark Portland Building.
Working with the estates team, AD Bell helped plan and deliver this sizeable task. They had to work to tight deadlines to make sure that all the alterations were complete before the start of the new semester, which was fully delivered with a number of days to spare.
Working with Leeds Beckett has also seen us putting together a more coherent signage system on their Headingley campus, the use of finger posts for pedestrians and monolith signs for vehicles, allows all visitors to find their way around more easily.
We offer a complete sign service for Leeds Beckett, with requests coming in from different departments and faculties. This may see us producing and installing window graphics or wall art one day followed by information systems and banners the next. With the wealth of experience that we have gained over the years we can come up with simple innovative and striking ideas that always deliver.
