Sulzer’s core is flow control and applicators. They specialize in pumping solutions, services for rotating equipment, and separation, mixing and application technology. Their customers benefit from a network of over 180 production and service sites around the world.
AdI have worked with Sulzer Pumps for a number of years creating innovative wall mounted information systems helping them stream line information flow for their business. This has seen us create wall mounted dry wipe and magnetic displays incorporating display holders and clip frames. These types of systems have always been functional at heart with a view on improving systems and procedures, but our ability to personalise and brand all the displays means that although the are incredibly functional they also look amazing too.
Sulzer Pumps recently commissioned AdI to create a focal point for their new Service centre and this saw us creating digital wall wrap to apply to the newly created stud walling. In any wall art scenario the most important part is to make sure that the surface being applied to is sound and smooth.
The install team first had to sand and fill all screw holes, joints and imperfections in the wall. Then a coat of primer needed to be added to the surface to make sure the vinyls would adhere to the surface. This first stage took a day to complete but it is this attention to detail that is important in making sure the finished installation will look as good as possible.
Once the prep work was complete the installation of the graphics could take place. As you will see from the photos this was made a little more complicated due to the wood work having to wrap around the girders.
The finished installation looks amazing and will make a very welcoming area for all who visit the Service Centre.
